Master's in Wisdom
From January 2012 to December 2013, Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, Pisa, Italy, in collaboration with Lama Tzong Khapa Institute, Pomaia (Pisa), Italy, is offering the first edition of a two-year ‘International Master’s in the Preservation and Development of Wisdom Culture and the Art of Liberation’ (Master’s in Wisdom).
The Master’s in Wisdom is an advanced study program of Buddhist philosophy and psychology, accompanied by a strong emphasis on meditation practice and altruistic service, aimed at cultivating the inner qualities of kindness, compassion, and wisdom.
The onsite program takes place at Lama Tzong Khapa Institute and is structured around traditional in-class lectures Monday to Friday, complemented by daily meditation sessions, regular tutorials four times a week, and weekly project work aimed at benefiting others.
The program is also available as a parallel on-line course.
